NC Matters
A UNC Creative Project
Real-time, perinatal psychiatric resources and consultation
for primary care providers in obstetric, pediatric,
family medicine, and psychiatric clinics.
Brand Mark
The NC MATTERS brand mark is a visual representation of the unique bond between a mother and child.
Logotype
NC MATTERS provides resources and support for both primary care providers and, directly, for patients. Therefore, we created an approachable logotype that could be used in a professional, medical setting. The logotype uses an extended sans-serif with modified rounded corners.
Color
Four colors were selected to allude to the four stages of pregnancy (each trimester and postpartum support). The accent colors are inspired by gender and gender-neutral colors.
Purple, the primary color for NC Matters, is the designated color for mental health awareness. The remaining colors can be used to define sub-categories or highlight supplementary information within the MATTERS program.
Gradient
A combination of all four colors on NC MATTERS to represent the movement and constant support provided through all stages of pregnancy.
